and a 1960 looking coupe seen in The Hiccup. He is seen on other vehicles such as a Vespa Scooter in Hit the Road Oggy!, Saturday Black Fever, The Joker Joked, and Control Freak. The car was originally Bob's, but apparently, Bob owns a different car as seen in Grease-Monkey Oggy and To Serve and Protect. Oggy owns an orange Volkswagen Beetle, dated to years 1960 to 1970, that is mostly used in Season 4, but it can be seen in some episodes of Season 3. Short breath (only in some episodes such as Invincible or Dee Dee Capone).He still has his red jellybean-like nose, but his eyes are now black dotted. In Oggy Oggy, his design is now different as he was a kitten. In Artsy Oggy, he wore a black barrette for painting.
Oggy always wields a red flyswatter, but in some episodes, it's tinted grey, yellow or green. Showtime!, and Olivia, he could not feel anything when surprised. According to executive producer Marc du Pontavice and France Info, Oggy was named after punk rock musician Iggy Pop and the rock album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. In season four, Oggy becomes a more outdoor and playful cat he is seen outside of his house in his lawn for most episodes of season four. However, his fears are not consistent one of the examples is in Water Sports, where he was seen to not be afraid of water. In several episodes, Oggy has been shown to have five main phobias: hydrophobia (fear of water) musophobia (fear of rats/mice) trypanophobia (fear of needles) acrophobia (fear of heights) and aviophobia/aerophobia (fear of flying). He is often seen taking food out of his red oven (located in the dining room/kitchen) with the help of gloves. Oggy is a great cook and baker as he makes appealing and delicious food in some episodes (good examples of this can be a cake and a chicken). In some episodes, while attempting to hit the Cockroaches with a swatter, Oggy hits a large amount of food with his swatter thus, Oggy can also make a mess and waste food. In spite of appearing to have a calm demeanor, Oggy will retaliate without hesitation when provoked (predominantly by the Cockroaches). He often displays kindness toward animals and often takes care of them He was hesitant and could not kill an octopus in one episode. He also displays a love for gardening and board games.ĭespite his lazy nature, Oggy is a diplomatic and easy-natured cat. He is also mentioned to fantasize about attaining a self-cleaning oven and a 12 gear vacuum on "The Wheel of Fortune". According to online descriptions, he is fond of the ideal home, game shows, listening to polka records, and eating chips in the bath. As usual, Oggy chases the cockroaches around the house when they keep getting on his nerves. Oggy's defining trait is arguably his laziness, enjoying watching television, eating and on a couple of instances, listening to music.
